The World (Setting)

This is where we will lay the ground rules for our world. What can be here and what can't be.

It is Post-Post-Apocalyptic.
There are many old ruins of currently modern things. People don't really know what they are anymore. The same goes for most electronics and stuff like that.

Elves are really just humans who have been experimented on in the distant past. Some of them were obviously combined with animals, some of them are indistinguishable from humans, and some of them have stranger mutations.
Humans snub them and consider them dirty and bad luck.
They have a habit of collecting old gears and wires and doodads and making stuff out of them like hair pieces and decorations.
They are also sometimes called Elflings, or much badder things by humans and other species.

Elves dislike humans for good reason, and are usually distrustful of strangers, but they're very open minded with one another and are loyal with each other. They tend to have a 'help out your own' mentality.

They live in tightly knitted little communities, and are usually very welcoming of other elves to join them. Their villages are usually high on defense and have guards and such to watch out for troublemaking humans, who - especially more recently - have tried to take over their land and towns for themselves.

Dragons, rare and huge and beautiful. They have scarcely been seen for the last fifty years or so, as there numbers dwindled. They have almost been relegated to legend. Younger generations of humans believe them extinct.

Males can reach up to 30 feet long, maybe more. At one point long long ago, they sometimes worked together with humans, however, recent memory recalls them as a vicious enemy that would torch whole villages and raid caravans to steal the rich goods traveling along isolated roads.
Humans in turn hunted them down to steal there hoards.

Dragons can be extremely long lived (if nothing bad befalls them). They also have certain abilities like shape shifting that help them hide and adapt to the world for survival. They are very private and secretive, not liking anyone, even other dragons to know where they live or what special skills and abilities they may have.
They like to make their dens in caves or ancient ruins. Preferrably any place that is hidden away and not easy for humans to get to.
Their babies have an especially long childhood and usually stay with their mothers (or fathers in some cases), for several hundred years until they are fully grown.

Humans are the 'normal' people. There are many warring factions, and these days they have been trying to spread out and conquer more property that is less polluted and overcrowded, which is causing a lot of problems for the other beings of the world.

Cannibals rove across the land in various mostly small groupings. They are cautious so, they normally approach only smaller groups that they think they can easily over power.

One particularly dangerous band of Cannibals call themselves Amazons. They are made up entirely of females. They eat only meat.
They are a larger group them most, fluctuating between 20-30 members. They wear masks and armour made up of old scrap metal and ancient relics that they have rebuilt to serve their purposes.
They are clever and cruel.
They are nomadic so, you better hope you are not in their way as they pass through.
